INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT & TREATMENTS

We are able to offer one to one assessments for children looking at their individual challenges and strengths. These assessments can be completed for a variety of purposes including specialist reports for Education and Healthcare Plans and LA Tribunals.

An assessment would typically consist of;

  • Observations of your child/young person in their school or nursery setting

  • One to one assessment using a range of standardised and non standardised assessments

  • Discussions with school staff and a meeting with parents.

This allows us to gain a real understanding of what is happening for your child and how they interact and engage in different settings.

Following the assessment a comprehensive report is written with recommendations of how your child can be supported to develop their goals.

CASE MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENTS

Bespoke assessment packages looking holistically at the child/young person focusing on but not restricted to; functional and life skills, gross motor and fine motor skills, sensory integration needs, equipment and engagement in community activities. The assessment would include observations at home and school/nursery, one to one assessment, discussions with school/nursery staff, meeting with parents, review of existing equipment. A comprehensive report detailing any recommendations would then be provided.

THERAPY INPUT

Following assessment we are able to offer therapy packages across home, school, nursery or clinic setting. The amount and frequency of therapy is dependent on the assessment findings and will be discussed prior to sessions starting.

Following each therapy session a therapy programme will be provided detailing activities and strategies that can be completed at home and school.

Therapy goals will be reviewed regularly to ensure that therapists and families plan intervention to meet needs and develop skills.

Therapy can be provided to meet EHCP provision and therapists can attend annual review meetings.

For case managed clients quotations for therapy blocks can be provided.
